The small common area feels cramped at times!!! Secure bag storage is practically non-existent, just a flimsy chain which could easily be tampered with!!! A little more attention to detail with the refurbishment would go a long way!!!

I loved how clean and artistic the space felt, it made the whole experience quite enjoyable. Plus, the accessible bikes were a game changer for sightseeing.

It wasn't cheap, but still acceptable.

great place for solo travelers

The location is fantastic, super close to the train station and attractions. The room was cozy with a futon on a tatami floor that was so comfy! Also, there were free bikes, which made getting around the city a breeze. The artistic decor and little garden added a lovely vibe to the stay.

my stay was fantastic! the room was cozy, and the futon on a tatami floor gave me the best sleep ever. the location is perfect, just a short walk from the train station and main attractions, exceeding my expectations during my overnight stop in matsumoto.

I loved my stay at Minka House. It is located perfectly near the city center. The complimentary bikes made exploring the area super fun and easy! The atmosphere of the house is enchanting, the decor feels thoughtful and cozy. My private room was spacious and comfortable, and I loved the little garden at the back which was great for relaxation. The staff's recommendations for local attractions were spot on.

The key for the door was quite small.

I really loved the self check-in since I got in late, and the welcome letter on my pillow was such a nice touch!
